The Flood 2: The Reckoning

It has been defeated! After a lot of work, the post-flood clean up is done! : ) The insurance guy and the contractor came out yesterday to look at the damage. The contractor said he is going to recommend that all the dry wall and the the entire ceiling be redone. Possibly the fireplace as well, but he won't know about that until he uncovers it. So, now we wait for the contractor to work up his bid present it to the insurance company and then they can get started on the building. We're going to have to completely move out while they do it, but they'll pay for either a hotel room or an apartment for the entire time we're out. Sweet. Living in a hotel room... that's so Beverly Hills 90210!! And I'm spent on cleaning. whew.
