The Agony of Defeat

I love me some Johnny Weir... my poor sweet baby... he had a bad night. Too bad. Now he'll just have to work extra hard next month at the world championship. My 2 other sweet babies Yevgeny and Stephan were able to pull it out getting the Gold and Silver. Good for them. : D

Now let's talk about Lindsey Jacobellis. WTF?!?!?! Wow... what was she thinking?! Granted it was a very 'snowboarding' thing to do...very punk rock... but this is for a Gold medal dumbass! Anyway, I hope she really is able to enjoy the silver medal now and I'm sure we'll see her again in Vancouver.

Now for some more movie reviews. Today in honor of the Winter Olympics the movies are scored out of a possible 5 mountains. : D Enjoy

Serenity: MM
Monster-In-Law: MMM
March of the Penguins: MMMMM
Wedding Crashers: MMM
The Aristocrats: MMMMM
Dogtown and Z Boys: MMMM
Kingdom of Heaven: MMM

Girl, you are straight-up crazy ranking Wedding Crashers higher than Serenity!

WC was good the first time, but very average the second time. Serenity was great the first time, and great the fifth time. The Firefly series was fun, too! Sure, the "six-shooters in space" aspect is crap, but I don't think there is much of that in the movie. It's all about the characters, and they were top notch.

Let me explain:

Serenity was just too weird. Maybe if I had ever watched Firefly I would have understood it better. I agree that it was very well done, great look, great performances...True Dat. Double True!! It was just too much for me...too strange. Wedding Crashers on the other hand didn't have standout performances but I got it. It made me laugh. So, that's why it outranked Serenity.
