I am the Pumpkin King!

I'm going to see Depeche Mode! Jake and I got our tickets the other day, and I could just tinkle I'm so excited! Frankly, I wasn't sure I was ever going to see them again, and now I am, yeah! :) In other news, Lost is finally back, and if you don't watch it I have no use for you. It's so good... And so far the season is off to a great start. OMG! They found "The Others"....Wow! I can't wait for next week. If you're a fan you must go to this website. It's really cool, which translates to a big commitment for those of us without high-speed, but it's an awesome site.

Jake and I went to see Corpse Bride, and I really liked it. Jake, not so much. Whatever. I was pleasantly surprised by the number of songs in it. I didn't realize that this one was going to be musical in nature like Nightmare Before Christmas. It had more in common with NBC than I expected it too, and given how much I love NBC, that's a good thing. However, don't get me wrong, I still love NBC way more than this movie. It was good, but not even close to the majesty, (mmhmm...Majesty) of NBC. Speaking of NBC, the season is upon us when all sorts of new merchandise becomes available, so I get to start buying new collectibles! Yeah! So, I found the next NBC investment that I'll be making. It's like a Christmas village, except it's a Halloween village, shown here. It will be mine. Come to Butthead.

Of course Trent likes Lost, he has good taste. : )

And Hi Bart! Welcome Back. : ) Yeah, I had to change blog sites because of a renegade family member of mine. So, I had to go on the run...hee hee. Anyway, I'll be here from now on. Good to hear from you again.

I thought Corpse Bride was AWESOME!! Although, with the exception of "Pee Wee's Big Adventure" and "Planet Of the Apes" Tim Burton has yet to disapoint me with his movies.

Not so much on Pee Wee huh? I loved that movie but I totally agree about Planet of the Apes, and I would also have to add Big Fish. I was dissappointed in that one too. Other than those though... thumbs up for Tim Burton.

Really you didn't like Big Fish? Wow that's surprising Sunshine! The first time i watched it I thought it was kinda dumb and i didn't really understand the ending. But i watched it again on HBO a couple months ago, and i really liked it the second time around. It kinda reminds me of the Neil Gaiman book I'm reading right now, where it's about family. That and the second time i watched it the ended made me cry :-P

I know, I was surprised by my reaction too. I was so bummed! I've only seen it once though and Jake told me that I had sand in my vagina that night so that's probably why I didn't like it. So, I'm definately going to give it a second chance...I want to like it. So, we'll see what happens after time 2. Maybe it'll be like Richard Hatch. Meaning, when that first season of Survivor ended I was SO FURIOUS that he had won that I almost stopped watching the show. Now, after watching that first season again, I'm thinking, what was my problem. It was quite a liberating breakthrough. : ) Any hoo.... I'm hoping for a better result the next time. However, I will not be seeing Planet of the Apes again. That one I know for sure I don't like. I mean seriously...what happened there?
