"Chanel? As in Coco?"

Despite the fact that this week sucks ass for me every year, there have been some good points. This past weekend my mother and I went to go Beauty and the Beast, the musical! I've never been able to see it before and it was so incredible! My mom got me tickets for Christmas, and it was everything I wanted it to be! Great costumes, and such a talented cast! This guy that I used to be really good friends with, but haven't seen in a few years, was in the show! It was so great to see him again! He's always had such an amazing voice and it makes me so happy to know that he's finally doing something with it. He's one of the theatre's regular crew (The Barnstormers), so he's been in a lot of shows there the past couple of years. Apparently, after he does one more show he'll be able to join the actor's union, so at that point he's planning on leaving for New York. It just made the night even better getting to see him and knowing he's doing so well. So, now I'm definitely going to go see the next show there (Man of La Mancha) so I can see him perform again. : ) I'm so glad I finally got to see Beauty and the Beast. Some of my all time favorite show songs, Home and If I Can't Love Her, come from that show. There was a song that Belle sang (Change in Me) that is not on my CD of the Broadway soundtrack, so that was interesting. Why isn't it on the CD? Strange. Anyway, I highly recommend it to all of you that like musicals.
