I apologize for the lack of new stuff here in my Nooks and Crannys. See, here at Grandma's house she's got what is quite possibly the slowest internet connection possible. So, doing anything online is very time consuming and a very big pain in the ass. Hopefully the work on my place will begin next week though, so I could be back in there by the end of Feb! That would rock!
The Golden Globes were this week. I pretty much agreed with everyone that won (except Hugh Laurie. Nothing against him, and I've never watched House, but Kieffer Sutherland rocks on 24 and he deserves recognition for it damn it! I need to go see Brokeback Mountain I guess. It's like, it's 2 hot guys gettin it on and stuff, and normally I'm totally down for some hot guy on hot guy action.... but it's still a cowboy movie. A.K.A. Dirt. A.K.A. Lame. Dirt is not sexy. So, I need to get myself in the mood to see it since it's apparently going to be winning a lot this year.
I'm going to a basketball game tonight. "Sunshine" you say, " You don't like basketball. Why would you go to a Nuggets game?" Valid question. Mom got tickets for her and Grandma to go to the game (my grandmother LOVES basketball and the game tonight is vs. the Utah Jazz which is my Grandma's team). However, since Grandma decided to go out of town for a couple of months that left mom with the extra ticket. So, since it's free, box seating with free drinks I figured I'd give it a shot. How boring can it be right? At least it's not baseball. : )
