I've decided that I'm going to quit saying how shitty the year was every new years. After all, I've only got myself to blame if I had a shitty year, so I should look ahead towards the new. Besides, in 2007 I quit smoking! That is huge and certainly makes 07 a year to remember. Here are some other great things from this year.
- I got another tattoo... and it's Boss Hog cool.
- I got serenaded at Country Buffet. How many people can say that?
- I reconnected with my brother after 25 years
- I went to a Bronco game
- Bon Jovi had a new album come out
In fact a lot of cool things happened this year. It was a tough year for some of my friends who lost members of their family. However, those we love and miss are happy now, and will be with us always. So, I really am optimistic for 2008. For the first time, I think that I won't be sad at midnight because I'm thinking about what should have been. Instead, I'm going to start next year by thinking about what is and what could be.
