Asia is not a country.

I just have to talk about Family Feud for a moment. I love the show, but seriously, sometimes people are so stupid. For example: the question was "Name a country whose name is 4 letters." First person buzzes in "Peru"... ding #3. Their team takes it and gives Iraq, Iran and all they need is one more. The next person says "China". Now, why would you say that when you know for a fact it's wrong? Dip-shit. Next person says "Asia." WTF?! Asia is not a country moron. I can't remember what their last stupid answer was, but it was NOT Cuba which the other team got and won the round. Later, in the final round, one of the questions was "Name somewhere you have a hard time staying awake." My beef here is not with the contestants on the show who gave reasonable answers; School (8 points)and Work (12 points). My problem here is with the 100 people surveyed. Would you like to know what the number one answer was? THE MOVIES! What!? I'm not going to say that I have never fallen asleep at the movies before, but it only happened once (Catch Me If You Can), and it was because we all took muscle relaxers first, and it knocked me out within 20 minutes of the film starting (lame). Who falls asleep often enough at the movies that it was their first response to that question?! Did they survey seniors? So so so stupid. If you're that tired maybe you should go see the movie another time. That's all I'm saying. That is part of the fun though, seeing the stupid answers people give, but sometimes you look at the #1 answers and you're left feeling confused.

In other news the contractor who is fixing my place called today. He got the bid in within the right amount of money, we are the next job on his list, and he thinks it will only take him 3 weeks to finish it. SWEET!! So, we have to wait for the insurance company to give the OK, but it looks like he could start as soon as next week. I'm so excited! My Grandma is leaving tomorrow and going back to Utah for a couple of months, so this should be done by the time she gets back. Which is just great because, I love her, but living with her is just like being in Utah. Lame.
